Michigan based renowned stunt painter and Guinness world record holder,
Artist Singh is now on a world tour to grafitify Detroit with his art. In sharp contrast to
the existing graffiti artists, who have been seen as nuisance and threat to
environment, SinGh plans to graffitify legally.
"Project
Reverberation" is a part of Artist SinGh's World Tour during which he is
going to various cities of the world to display his art. While his drawings from his “Project
Holy Cow” series displayed
in New York last month were based on the theme of animal welfare, the theme for Detroit is musicians and their
musical instruments.
SinGh's drawings are based on images that were
sent to him by the people of Detroit. He made these images into large scale
drawings as a tribute to the musicians in Detroit.
These drawings
portray the connection between musicians and their instruments. While producing
the finest music, a musician is in a state of ultimate bliss with his
instrument. SinGh has attempted to capture this state of ecstasy in his
drawings.
One hundred large scale drawings will be displayed in
the Metro Detroit Area (Ferndale, Royal Oak, and Birmingham) to express
gratitude to those known and unknown musicians of Detroit, who make a
difference in the lives of people through the comforting power of their music.
